A question about one specific fact in the text — a time, a price, a name, a condition.
The detail question is the largest single block of marks on the A2 Lezen paper: 157 of our 243 reading items are built this way, and the real paper is weighted the same. Finding the fact is not the difficulty — it is written in front of you. The difficulty is that three of the four options are also written in front of you, somewhere else in the text.
How the exam tests this
Short everyday texts — a notice, an e-mail, an advertisement, opening hours, a schedule — with four options. The wrong options are built from the text itself: a number that appears in a different row of the table, a day that belongs to the other branch, a price that applies to a different group. They are never invented, which is why they look right. One option is often true of the text but does not answer the question that was asked.
