What if I buy the wrong level?

Why do I have to give up my right of withdrawal?

You don't — not at payment. Your 14-day right of withdrawal stands until you open paid content yourself: a full-length mock, the complete question bank, or AI feedback. The free half-length mock does not count. We record that moment. Haven't opened anything yet? Email us and we'll refund you.

Are these real exam questions?

No, and they are not allowed to be. Our questions are original practice material, written to the published DUO and CvTE exam format. Every answer is checked and carries an explanation.

Are the reading passages as long as the real exam's?

Yes. Our reading texts are now at exam scale: a median of around two hundred and thirty words per text at Programma I and around three hundred and twenty-five at Programma II — the same order as the Staatsexamen NT2's, and, as on the real papers, longer at Programma II than at Programma I. The number of questions, the question types and the time limit were already correct, and Writing and Speaking are at full exam length. Listening is the one part where we are still short of the exam — the next question says exactly how. Until recently the texts were shorter and this page said so; all 194 have been rewritten since.

Are the listening fragments as long as the real exam's?

Not yet, and this is the one part where we are still behind the exam. Our recordings run about a minute and a half at Programma I and just under three minutes at Programma II, and each carries about four questions; the Staatsexamen puts five to eight questions on each of five or six longer recordings. A practice paper therefore reaches the right number of questions across roughly ten fragments instead of five or six, so a Programma I candidate listens for about fourteen minutes where a Programma II candidate listens for close to thirty. What is already the exam's: the speed of the speech, the number of questions, the number of times you may play a fragment, and the time you get. Longer transcripts and re-recorded audio are the next content job after the reading rewrite, and Programma I goes first because that is where the gap is widest. We would rather you read this here than discover it on the day. One more thing the exam has that we do not: its listening papers carry one to three video fragments, and all 313 of our files are audio. That is a format we lack rather than a length we can adjust, so it is not fixed by the rewrite above.
