Spreken: foto beschrijven
You see one photo and describe it in a few full sentences: who is there, what they do, and what you notice.
The prompt starts with Kijk naar de foto and then asks one or two questions, for example: Wat voor weer is het en wat doen de mensen? The task cards in our bank ask for at least three sentences, or at least three things, in full sentences. So a list of loose words is not enough, and neither is an answer to only one of the two questions. The shape that works: one sentence for the place, one or two for the people, one for the second question.
How the exam tests this
In the Inburgeringsexamen Spreken you answer on a computer and your answers are recorded. One part shows you a single photo and asks you to describe it. The task cards in our bank check four things: is the description clear, are the sentences reasonably correct, do you say enough, and does it fit the photo? We have 32 of these one-photo tasks to practise with.
What is wrong with this sentence?
Park. Zon. Mensen. Eten.
Most candidates write it exactly like this and lose the mark without knowing why.
