Luisteren: standpunt
A question about what one named speaker thinks — their position, their main argument, or how far they agree.
53 of our 626 B2 listening items. The fragments are panel discussions, debates and interviews with two or more voices. The question always names one person: "Wat vindt de deskundige van het advies?", "Wat is het belangrijkste argument van mevrouw De Wit?". Three things make this hard on a single hearing: the speakers share vocabulary, each speaker says more than one thing, and at B2 a position is rarely plain yes or no — it is "in grote lijnen wel, maar …".
How the exam tests this
Luisteren II: about 40 multiple-choice questions over five or more fragments in 90 minutes, computer-marked, and each fragment plays once. Position questions name a speaker and often ask for the belangrijkste argument or what someone vindt. The wrong options are built from the other speaker's view, from a secondary point the same speaker makes later, and from the position with its reservation cut off, which turns a careful view into an extreme one.
