Standpuntvraag
A question asking what position the writer — or a named person in the text — actually takes.
This is the question type that separates Programma II from Programma I: not what the text says, but what the writer holds. The difficulty is that a B2 text argues both sides on purpose, and a writer who spends three paragraphs describing an argument fairly is usually about to reject it. Position is carried by a handful of words, not by the volume of text given to each side.
How the exam tests this
About 35–36 multiple-choice questions over roughly 6 texts in 100 minutes, computer-marked. Standpunt questions come with options that are all defensible readings — that is the design. One states the position of a source the writer quotes; one states the position the writer sets up in order to knock down; one overstates the writer's own view into something absolute; one is the writer's view with its reservation intact. The last is the answer, and it is usually the least emphatic option on the screen.

Most candidates write it exactly like this and lose the mark without knowing why.
