Verbandvraag
A question about which two things the text links, and what kind of link it is.
3 of our 291 B2 reading items. The stem asks Welk verband legt de schrijver tussen … en …? or Tussen welke twee zaken legt de tekst een verband? The Verklaringsvraag gives you one fact and asks for its cause. This one asks for the link itself: which two things, joined how — a root, a hidden correlation, a recognition of power. B2 texts also reject links out loud (Dat was geen …, maar …) and add second ones (Een tweede mechanisme …), and the wrong options are built from exactly those.
How the exam tests this
Lezen on Programma II: roughly 35–36 multiple-choice questions over about six texts in 100 minutes, computer-marked. The correct option names both things and the kind of link the text gives them. The wrong options pair two things the text mentions but never joins (Tussen dijken en oorlogsvoering), borrow the link from a different paragraph or mechanism (Door vaker te controleren in wijk A …), or take the very link the text rejects and present it as the answer (Omdat een meetkundige noodzaak elke andere lijn op de kaart uitsloot).
