Rooster lezen
Reading a schedule — who works when, what happens on which day, when to call for what — and answering about one row.
5 of our A2 reading items carry this code. A rooster pairs two things on every line: a day and an activity, a person and their days, a purpose and a phone time, a kind of waste and its collection day. The question gives you one half and asks for the other. Every wrong option is the other half of a different line, so each one is true somewhere in the text — just not on the line you were asked about.
How the exam tests this
Part of Lezen, computer-marked, four options. The schedules are a buurthuis programme, a work rota, an afvalkalender, a GP's phone times, the evenings of a course. Two question shapes: Wat kunt u op woensdag doen? (day given, activity asked) and Op welke dagen werkt Karim? (person given, days asked). The wrong options are the neighbouring lines, and for days they are near-misses: Op dinsdag en woensdag when the text says dinsdag en donderdag — one day right, one wrong.
