The question looks forward: "Waarover gaat het tweede deel van het college?", "Wat is de eerste terugvaloptie als de commissie het verzoek afwijst?", "Hoe eindigt de columnist zijn pleidooi over het lege blok?". You never hear the second part of the lecture; you hear it announced. So the answer is in one signalling sentence — In het tweede deel, Daarna, Dan heb je twee opties, Vanaf morgen, straks — and it has to be taken exactly as announced, not guessed from what would logically come next in such a talk.
How the exam tests this
Luisteren II: about 40 multiple-choice questions over five or more fragments in 90 minutes, computer-marked, and each fragment plays once. In our bank, 8 of the 15 continuation items are the last question on their fragment, and none is the first; 3 ask directly about "het tweede deel". The wrong options are topics from the same field that the speaker did not announce, the announced topic without its reference back (dit mechanisme, deze inzichten), or the other option in a list of two.
