A question about a limit the text puts on its own claim — the reservation, not the finding.

Dutch exam texts about research almost always end by reining themselves in: the effect was found, but in thirty people; the result holds, but not for this group; the researchers warn against reading more into it than the data carry. The question asks what that reservation was, and the options offer the finding, the topic, and an invented risk alongside it. This is the type where a confident reader of the subject matter does worst, because they answer from what they know about the topic.
How the exam tests this
About 40 multiple-choice questions over roughly 6–7 texts in 100 minutes, computer-marked. Phrased Waarvoor waarschuwen de onderzoekers? or Welke kanttekening plaatst de auteur? The correct option is nearly always about the strength of a conclusion rather than about the subject — overdreven verwachtingen, conclusies die verder gaan dan het bewijs. The wrong options are about the subject itself and read as sensible statements, which is what makes them cost marks.
