Zinstaak: gevolg
A sentence task where you complete a given stem with a logical consequence, using the connector the stem hands you.
The stem gives a cause and stops at a connector — waardoor, daardoor, dat — or opens with a doordat clause and stops at the comma. You supply the consequence. The content is rarely the problem: any adult can think of what follows from a closed bridge. The marks sit in the word order, because each connector demands a different one, and the three orders look almost identical on the page.
How the exam tests this
Schrijven II lasts 100 minutes and holds 9–12 tasks, most of them single-sentence tasks like this one, each marked on its own by two assessors against a scheme. In our consequence tasks the scheme asks three things: does the sentence express a consequence, is the connector used correctly including the word order it demands, and does the content fit the situation given. A sensible consequence in the wrong order fails the second question outright, and that is where most marks on this task are lost.
