Luisteren: detailvraag
A question about one fact you hear in the fragment — a time, an amount, how often, what to bring.
The detail question is the biggest group in our A2 listening practice: 131 of our 237 listening items ask for one fact. The fact itself is easy Dutch — a time, a price, a number. The difficulty is that a short fragment almost always says two of them, and unlike a text you cannot look back to check which one belonged to the question.
How the exam tests this
The A2 Luisteren part is multiple choice on short audio fragments — voicemails, announcements at the station or in a shop, a short conversation at the doctor or the bakery — and it is computer-marked. The question and options are on screen; the Dutch is only in your ears. The wrong options are built from the fragment itself: the other time that was mentioned, a number from the neighbouring sentence, the date of birth instead of the appointment. They are never invented, so every wrong option is something you really heard.
