Waar gaat dit over?
A question about the subject of a short notice — one topic, in four words.

The texts are short — a notice on a door, a message from the school, a warning from the weather service — and the question is Waar gaat dit bericht over? or Waar waarschuwt dit bericht voor? The four options are four plausible subjects, all of them the kind of thing such a notice could be about, and often three of the four words appear somewhere in the text. This is not a test of understanding the whole message; it is a test of not stopping at the first word you recognise.
How the exam tests this
Part of Lezen, computer-marked multiple choice, with the reading paper sat separately from the others. The texts here are the shortest on the paper, four or five lines, and the questions come one per text. Because the text is short, every option word that appears in it appears deliberately — a notice about a new bus route to the hospital will list a hospital, a station and a shopping centre among its options.
