Zinstaak: voorwaarde
A completion task: the stem states a plan and ends in mits or op voorwaarde dat, and you supply the condition that makes it possible.
The connector is already printed, so the choice of word is not yours; the logic and the order are. Mits and op voorwaarde dat both mean only if, so what follows must be something that, when true, allows the plan. The two ways to lose the mark are a clause in main-clause order after the connector, and a condition that points the wrong way — one that would stop the plan rather than permit it.
How the exam tests this
Most of Schrijven II is sentence tasks — roughly seven or eight of its nine to twelve — each asking for one move. In all four of our voorwaarde items the stem is printed and ends in the connector: two in mits, two in op voorwaarde dat. So the task is not choosing a word; it is writing a subordinate clause that fits it. Two assessors mark against a scheme, and our practice items check three things: is a real condition stated, is the given connector used correctly including word order, and does the condition fit the situation. One of our items asks for één heldere voorwaarde, which is a warning against listing several.
